The service manual says to insert a 29MM socket though the side closest to the pinion. Yet the 29MM socket will not fit through there because its too large!

So how does one remove the center bushing and rack oil seal?

Could one use a long flat head screw driver and just hammer on that screw driver to get the oil seal out? Thats what I did with the rack oil seal closest to the end cover.

Is Rack Doctor still on this forum?

Damn I hope not because I already wrapped my breaker bar and socket in electrical tape. :(

Screw it I will spray some PB blaster then try a smaller socket and hammer it out.
