Im trying to remove them so i can clean and paint them, but as far as taking off the brake line hose, how do you deal with this considering it leaks when you disconnect it? thanks

when you remove the brake line, it will probobly drain the fluid unless you plug it with somthing. even if it does drain it, just fill it up and bleed it when you put the calipers back on.

you may have to bleed the mc too, just loosten the line on the MC and it will come out.

get a pain of those needle nose visegrips and pinch the lines about an inch from the caliper. no fluid will be lost, this is providing you dont have SS brake lines.
