I have looked and many many threads about BYPASSING the BOSE amp, but one thing that never seems very clear is can it be completely removed? In the service manual one line diagram for the 2013 G37 convertible it shows some communications going in and out of the AMP. If I completely remove the AMP will I affect any other vehicle systems?

My plan is to install an amp and sound processor to replace the BOSE amp.

Thanks

Specific concern is the sonar detector, and "AV Communication lines shown here.

The only reason this is important is because of the lack of space in the convertible, it would be useful to actually remove the bose amp in order to allow other new hardware to go in its place.

I don't have the info you seek but would suggest just leaving it. You usually bypass it at the back of the radio with a new harness so there's no good reason to yank it.
