so im not running my boost solenoid because I read somewhere it limits low end boost to 5psi and without it you can run 7psi. i just need to know if my vacuum lines are hooked up correctly. excuse the drawing but you should get the point.

that look about right or do I have something wrong?

the bov is on the intake side of the ic piping and the T goes to the exhaust side

It is other way around. With boost solenoid you can run 7 psi, without it 5.

You can just install a MBC where between the T and the wastegate, make sure you have a boost gauge crank it up to 9-10 and just leave it.

none really, just keeps him from having to get a longer vac line to the plenum or having to get a new connector. Doesnt hurt a thing. But if he wanted to clean it up sure he could remove it.

Quick question??Why is the IC piping hooked into the vacuum lines??

doing it the way pictured is redundant.

either connect the wastegate to the IM and cap the piping or cap the IM and connect the wastegate to the piping. if i were you i'd feed the wastegate from the piping and use the IM port for a boost gauge to read psi at your manifold.

yup there is no reason to have the manifold and IC piping connected to the wastegate

but just cap the manifold, there is already a nipple on the back of the intake manifold for the factory RB25 boost sensor for the cluster.

and also correct with whoever said withOUT the solenoid you only run 5psi, then with it you run 7. you will need to get a MBC or EBC to run more than 5.5psi (wastegate spring pressure)
