Removing automatic trans + engine as a unit?

Before I take off the last few bolts tomorrow I thought I'd ask. Things look pretty tight underneath.

Will these two come out as a single unit if I pull it through the top? I know you can do it with Manual trans but the auto seems kind of fat in comparison.

yeah if you have a cherrypicker, make sure everythings unhooked, get the radiator out of the way, and get help on hand. pull it forward, up and out. slowly.

Yeah rad and everything is out. Just wasnt sure if the fat pan on the bottom of the automatic would clip past the steering rack while pulling or not.
