ok, i dont want the automatic seatbelts in my car. and from what i've seen so far i havnt been able to find a 240 (s13) that didnt have them. Does anybody know of any direct bolt in to replace them. I wanna gut the guide rails and put a panel up, but i dont know if they actually made panels for models that didnt have them or what. any help would be appreciated

you'll need a lot of chit, though, to make it work.

b-pillar trim, the belts themselves, headliner, carpet, etc.

I know the JDM sr20de s13/180sx cars came without power seatbelts too. Not sure about the turbo'd cars, but I see non-power seatbelt conversions on E-bay every once in awhile. Just keep your eyes, open.

Thought someone had done the swap on here before...Beleive they just installed a seat that had seatbelts in it. I've strippe dmy 89 hatch wasn't hard at all to take them out but half the car was already gutted. Middle of workign on the dash when I about knocked myself out with the seatbelt. Was out of the car in 5 minutes.

it's actually really easy to do. Just go to the junkyard and get yourself some S14 seatbelts. Then remove all the crap associated with your seatbelts and install the S14 ones in their place.

the only real issue is that the top mounting bolt on the S14 seatbelts doesnt have anywhere to mount in an S13. If you want to correct this, you have to fabricate a bracket out of plate steel and either weld or bolt it into your car. I havent done that yet, and I would probably die if i got into a wreck, but oh well...
