I have a 2003 M45 and the armrest door latch broke. Under the door are 4 screws which I removed and I am trying to seperate the plastic cover from the top of the armrest. I started to pry it in hopes it was just a clip holding it, but there is too much tention. I believe there is something else holding it on. Can anyone help?

I just looked. There are 2 more screws at the base by the hinge. I think you'll need to pop off the hinge cover to get to them. Hopefully it pops off, right?

It would be best if you could remove the entire lid assembly to get a better grasp on how to get tot hew latch, but I don't see a way to get to it unless you also remove the rear vents.

Even if those 2 remaining screws were what was still holding it together, it shouldn't still be keeping the top, soft lit from the base so tightly together that you could begin to pry it apart...

Do you have the FSM for this car?

No FSM. But let me give it a try this weekend. Thanks
