I just bought a car from a guy who religiously doused the interior with Armor All. My question is this:

How do you remove the cloudy residue from the clear plastic? You know like the clock and gauge cluster.I kind of scratched some of it off with my fingernail, but is there a chemical or something i could use?

Thanks!

meguire's Plasti-X. if that doesn't take it off, get some 1500-2000 grit sandpaper, and a bucket of soapy water, and a sponge. soak the sandpaper for 10 min or so, wrap it around the sponge, and lightly sand the plastic until it is uniformly scratched. dont push hard or you will gouge it. then use the plasti-x to buff out the scratches. Basically wet sand and polish it. I just broke it down fo you in case you didn't know how. works great on plastic headlights too. I had the same problem and mine looks new.

bmadd is correct - I prefer a product called Nexus, which is an acrylic aquarium polish... get it at high-end aquarium stores.
