I found good replacements for all the locks on my '92 Q45 in a nearby junkyard. It's a 1995 Q45. I tried removing all the locks but failed in doing so. I was only able to remove the trunk and the glove box locks. I unbloted the two 10mm nuts holding the doorlocks on the doors but for some unknown reason, they wouldn't come out. I didn't pull or push too hard since I didn't want to crack/break anything. The ignition was just too unclear and couldn't figure out where to begin. I've always found answer to everything I've done thus far on my Q. I did a search but nothing poinys me in the right direction. I have the keys to the Q45 in the junkyard. Any tip or assistance is greatly appreciated.Oh...I searched before I posted.

I am sorry, But what was wrong with ALL of the previous locks?

why not just have a master lock smith rebuild the faulty lock cyinders? In the end that may be the cheaper and more time effective solution as you don't know the current condition of the 1995 Q45 locks.

But if wish not to heed my advice you can always look in the FSM: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Q45/1995_Q45/1995_Q45/

Those can be a real pain. Check out this TSB:http://www.q45.org/gallery2/d/...05f9f

The ignition switch is held on by a "U" shaped bracket. The bolts are actually shear head... so when they were installed, the head broke off. This is an anti-theft measure.

So you need to drill the heads off... look on the bottom side of the steering column. You can just replace the old bolts with regular bolts, allen cap-head bolts, or order new shear head bolts if they're available.

Good luck!
