removing alternator

having trouble removing alternator,got it out of the bracket but am unable to find area to get it thru either top or bottom. any help would be appreciated as my frustration factor with this is already high.

yeah i had that problem. It just barely fits through after you rotate it a certain way. You'll figure it out haha..kinda hard to explain. My experience is with the KA24E, with the lower fan shroud piece removed. Good luck man

if you are replacing a new rebuild alternater then cut the drive belt you able to get the bolt out easy and replace a new belt after anyway!
