Hey guys, right now im prepping my 240 for a motor swap, but I had a few questions. When I get the motor in I don't intend to use ac or heating since this will not be my daily driver. So would it be ok to just rip out the heating and cooling unit under the dash? I already ripped out all the AC lines and condenser. I would just leave them in, but I figure if i'm not using them i might as well toss them and save some weight...

Also is it ok to just leave unused electrical connectors like from the wiper fluid reservoir or AC hanging. Or do I have to do anything special with them so as not to get a CEL.

Oh and has anyone here successfully removed the battery tray CLEANLY? Cause this thing does not look like its coming out without a cutting wheel.

The battery tray, from what I understand, never comes out very cleanly.

Anyways, if your car is a 89-90, I'll buy your AC compressor if you're willing to let it get away. Let me know if you're interested.

Hmm thats what I thought. looks like imma have to use a cutting wheel and a grinder to get it out clean.

Anyone got info on ripping out the Cooling and Heating unit?

Also I dont have the AC compressor, sorry, my 240 was just a shell (no motor)
