You could probably just pull the power on the ABS and I have pulled the fuse on the TCS before for a while when I was having problems. Just always had the TCS and SLIP lights on. I used to have a Land Rover that I would pull the ABS fuse on when I was off roading because it got annoying out in the dirt and never had any ill effects. I was wondering about pulling the plug on the TCS control unit in the trunk to see if the system would shut down without the TCS and SLIP lights on. Q's been down for a while so I haven't had a chance to try it yet.

Tried unplugging the TCS control unit in the trunk tonight and the TCS was disabled and only the TCS OFF light was ON. Didn't try the ABS fuse but I'm quite certain removing the fuse will disable it fine. Can't drive mine right now because the a/c compressor is dead and grinding.

Does you auto insurance policy have a discount for ABS if so, intentionally turning off is insurance fraud.

Yes, I wouldn't see why nor recommend disabling the ABS myself. The TCS is another story. I just did it while off roading in another vehicle.

How about more details on the "race only" Q?

In my opinion the TCS should be permanently disabled whenever the temperature is above 45F.............assuming the VLSD is functiong as new.

Rear brake pads will last longer, tires may not. But you probably won't get rear ended by a SEMI.

Well, there is rain, but I agree. If I had a G50 with TCS, I would rip it out and keep the four channel ABS.

TCS is nice to have, but itd be nice to hardwire a switch so you can leave it off without having to turn it off every time you get in the car... Its nice in rain and winter... Otherwise its no good.. I suppose you dont really need it in the rain as the LSD does most the work.
