Haha I'm glad they're super easy for you to pop out. It took me about 10 minutes to figure out how to undo those and I consider myself a pretty smart guy lol. But yeah those are just the clips holding the carpet in place and secure. It's pretty convenient to have it for running wire though! especially when you've got a 0 gauge like me. All those pics are of the passenger side in case anyone gets confused.

Did you do the roof? Isn't the roof liner glued on or something?

I didnt do the roof, I dont know if its glued on or what, but Im pretty sure it wouldnt be too hard to get it off. There are airbags in it, so it has to be accessible. Im almost positive doc did it. In my opinion, the roof wont do much for road noise, and theres not too much that can rattle or vibrate in there, so use all your resources on the doors, sides, floor, and trunk, then do the roof if theres anything left.

I agree for the most part, I ALWAYS use the manual, but then again Ive been doing installs and working on cars for a long time. So I would call myself fairly experienced and confident when it comes to this kind of stuff. A lot of people arent, and thats why I always post pics when I can. Even I get confused sometimes by the FSM, so Im just doin all I can. So I agree use the manual! but a it helps to always get a second opinion or to see the process in pictures, even if it's just a confidence thing.

remember, all different skills levels on here regarding mods... some folks can take the entore car apart and put it back together... but for some folks, seeing this

nosirrr!!!! didn't touch the roof, not a lot of road noise coming in from up there! But I will go back and do a layer of luxury liner in some key areas... I think that will make a world of a difference and really quiet down the insde... the quieter the insde is, the louder the music sounds, ya dig!

That is what my toys look like after I got bored with them. I used to love taking them apart to see what they were made of. But now that I have to buy my own toys, I hesitate when I have to open them up to do something.

Yeah man, that stuff used to scare the crap outta me, since were on the topic.

But then I got curious and started doin little mods and stuff, and slowly got the hang of it. Plus I've been playin trumpet and other instruments for about 15 years now, and being around so much music turned me into an audiophile, and I got the audio bug.

By the way, I didnt want to create a whole new thread yet, But here's a little teaser. I havntposted many pics yet of my audio setup because all the enclosures and everything has been testing. Im not really proud of how it looks, just how it sounds. Well, the next step is almost here. Today I finished working with my audio guys and now have a HUGE dual 12" fiberglass subwoofer enclosure painted glossy black. Were now working on plexiglass amp windows to mount the amps under a false floor in the trunk in front of the subs. It's gonna be an all out spare-tire-removin' custom fit job, were just movin a little slow cuz I'm not rollin in cash right now.

I'll tack this onto the FAQ next time I update. With the thread being locked, I'm going to try to update only once I have about 5+ things to take care of. It'll make it easier on the mods.
