I was thinking about taking off the 240sx badge on my '97, but I just wanted to make sure that there is nothing behind it. In previous cars there were 2 holes for pins, like most front emblems. Are there pins holding in the rear badge or is it just tape?

nope nothing there mine is off. just use goo gone and some floss. he only thing is the badge chipped the clear coat from using a power washer and had an outline of 240SX. looks clean with out the badge though.

Yeah it comes right off with floss leaving nothing behind except for the sticky stuff behind it. I used a hair dryer on the sticky stuff and it eventually all came off.

I'm trying to find badges to replace the ones that were stolen off of my car. Does anybody know where to find good replacements on the low?

instead of buying replacement badges, go JDM! Jspec.com has the JDM emblems for s13, 14, and 15.

Why?? JDM badges are more expensive. IMO, its better to have a JDM car on the inside then the outside.

the logos on the quarter windows are acually cut out of the black so the silver shows through (i took a hammer to an already broken one in a junkyard to figure this out). so it's basically impossible to get rid of it

OK. I figured the JDM badges would be more expensive, but I like the JDM Silvia badge a lot. I'll have to check out the Jspec website. Thanks guys.

I just checked the website for the badges. There's a lot of great stuff there. Thanks for the tip.
