I can not figure this out for the life of me..I had the same problem with the ka fuel rail with trying to get the injectors out when i was selling them. So i just ended up selling the whole fuel rail but now that I have the sr fuel rail. I can't get these injectors out at all, is there a secret? cause i tryed just turning them out/pulling them out, even trying to smash them out. whats the correct way to remove this babies so i can install my new injectors?

i have yet to find a "correct way". my personal favorite, (if rail is still on engine) is to put a red rag over the injector, after the hold down is removed, and grab them with a pair of vise grips (horizontally on the squared off edges), clamp with just enough pressure to hold it) and pull, twisting slightly bakc and forth, pull with a smooth increasing pressure, dont yank on them or you'll bugger up the orings. to reinstall, i like to use a little wd40 and pop them back in. it also makes taking them out next time really easy.

gently pry with a flat head while you are pulling on it.

It takes time and patience but possible.

You are supposed to change the o-rings anytime you take something like injectors out. It is a very good idea to do that. So, I wouldnt be too worried about damaging the o-rings while removing them.

When you are installing, make sure you lube them up nicely and it should pop in there with ease.
