So I removed my washer fluid tank to make room for the FMIC piping, now the wipers don't work. I'm goign to assume that those two are related somehow. If not, please correct me. If so, please guide me on how to fix this problem. Many thank in advanced.

the tank resevoir should not cause your wipers to stop working. my tank has been removed and the wipers still work.

you only mention removing the tank. did you remove any motors? specifically did you tamper with the motor mounted on the passenger side of the firewall?

Nope, all I did was unplug all the stuff down there by the wheel and remove the thing. I'll have to check to see if my buddy removed anything around the firewall... he better not have. And by that I mean I unplugged everything out of the washer tank.

Hmm. 240s tend to have problems with some of their wiper wiring. SCC project silvia has a problem with its wipers, they do not work when you use the windshield washers, or something like that. My windshield wipers sometimes come on by themselves when I quickly press the gas pedal all the way down. :) If you did not tamper with the motor on the fire wall you definitely have a wiring issue. Its time to get cozy with the wiring diagram and a multi meter. Sorry its the only advice that I have.

Well it was working fine until I took out the fluid tank. Now it just decided that it would not respond to the switch on the steering column. The weird thing is the rear hatch wiper still works. So I'm completely perplexed. I'm wondering if I knocked a ground out or anything.

the wipers on Project Silvia have long since stopped working because of wear and tear on the wiring of the wiper motor. It happens

Isn't there a wiper relay somewhere? If so, best to start troubleshooting at the relay terminals.

it's possible to mess up the wiring and cause the wipers, turn signals, lights etc. etc. to malfunction if you have your car lowered too much. Mainly on 240s, due to the placement of the wiring harness. If you do have your car lowered, check out the wiring harness in the drivers' side inner fender well.

Hehehe... boy am I an idiot. I just somehow burnt out the fuse. So yeah, maybe someone should email Project Silvia and tell them to check their fuse box.

lol. . . don't feel too bad. I think we all make mistakes like that in our lifetime.
