OK...Before you call me nuts, follow me here. I'm new to the G family and my G37 does not have the NAV. I want to use my iPhone with Navigon in it's place. It just so happens that if I place the iphone against the radio screen in the G37 is rests perfectly with the dial keeping it up. So I was thinking of putting a couple of those clear glue dots like you see on the back of new credit cards when they arrive to add some non-slip goodness. Am I nuts? It just might work. I drove with it in place and it got a great signal and everything was OK.

Thanks,
M

How about some duct tape. :chuckle: j/k

Let me know if you find something that works. I need to stick my radar detector bracket to my glass and I want to find some kind of removable glue. In my G I had my detector mounted above my mirror and in my Z there are those black out dots there and the suction cups won't stick to that.

Welcome to NICO! They make different "non-stick/slide" stuff that might work.

Or the reuseable 'glue puddy' or just let a couple drops of clear silicone dry on a wax paper and pull it off and use it.

Not sure where you are but EZ- Pass supplies free strips with velcro on one side and the other side sticks to the windshield. EZ-Pass is the transponder that allows you to zip thru toll booths without stopping and they bill your credit card.

Those two little strips have been holding my EZ Pass since I purchased my G in Dec 2005

Not sure if that is what you are looking for?

Those strips are a good idea but I was looking for something clear and small...Its going to sit on the screen...I'll have to snap a picture and show you what I mean..It actually works great in that position. I have not had any problems with GPS signals and I have tried it out in a bunch of locations.

And here is the picture!
