20lbs? maybe when it is filled up. when it is empty it probably weighs 1lb. just keep it empty if your worried about that little extra weight.

i took mine out because i hate it. hoses mounting bracket and all maybe 5 lbs. again its just personal, i just dont like the sprayer.

there was an article about making it into a intercooler/radiator sprayer. so you might want to keep it.

yea but your still left with the squirters sticking out of the hood.and yes i saw that in the scc mag. i may have to try that. i never use mine anyways, if you use rain-x you never need the windshield sprayers.

ahh yes I looked at the thread again and it said full w/ water. Looks like I'm keeping it - so far I've removed spare, jack/tools, stripped trunk, contemplating whether it's worth it remove rear seat (upper and lower), should be good for about 15 lbs

I took mine out when I installed my front mount and never put it back. And I don't have any plans to put it back either.

my car didn't have one when i got it. problem solved :D

it still seems kind of silly to think that the removal of the resevoir is equal to a major weight reduction.

i think of it more as a visual improvement. it cleans up the engine bay. i was thinking about taking out the nozzles on the hood to smooth it out.

one should be careful with that rain-x. it eats away at the glue used to hold the glass in place. after a while the glue leaks down the paint and discolors the paint.

What do you guys do in the snow? Obviously not everyone lives in a snowy winter climate but damn! I've refilled my reservoir twice in the last two weeks already because the s*** they spray on the roads makes my windshield all "sticky" and cloudy.

What exactly is this "snow" you speak of?
