remove tpms light?

sorry if this has been talked about before.

so the m45 rims for my car is triggering the tpms light.. i thought they would be compatible but apparently not. and i will get the ones from my stocks transferred but for now, does anyone know how to turn it off if possible? its really buggin me, sometimes i forget and think that somethings wrong with the car lol, which sucks cause its new. thanks

Did you sync your new TPMS sensors with your car on your new rims? If you didn't, that's why your system is going crazy. There is not way to "turn it off" (or at least not that I've ever seen, but I'm sure someone knows of a wire you can cut or something) since it is a law now for all cars to have them installed. If you have new sensors, take them to a car shop to have them reprogrammed to your system.

a bought them from the owner of my bodyshop and i thought he did, it just turned back on while i was on my way home right after gettn them installed, he said that they may not be compatible which is why he will just switch em out with the ones from the stocks eventually. is that not right? are they all compatible?

There is not way of taking off the light for the tpms unless you unsodder the led light that lights up that alert. If you look at my thread named DASH Cluster in the Interior/Exterior Forum, you will see that it's a LED light that's soddered on the instrument panel, it's not a plug in bulb like the previous model car. The only way to get a clear shot at that LED, you would have to remove the needles, remove the gauge face and then get to the LED and unsodder it. I would not recommend removing the needles seeing that I accidentally moved a couple while doing my mod to the cluster and now 2 of the needles sag and do not read accurately.

Not all of the TPMS sensors are compatible - each company has their own and runs on different frequencies. Read this, it has some good info:
