I cant seem to get the timing chain off the cam gears. I have loosened the bolts on the cam gears and there is nothing behind them like i have read. I am using the greedy adjustable cam gears if that makes a difference. I have taken off the CAS and the tensioner. I am stuck and out of ideas.

Put two screw drivers through the holes on a cam sprocket. Slide the cam gear off the camshaft. Now take out a screw driver and let the cam sprocket drop an inch or two. Release the chain. Repeat on the other side.

I kind of dont understand what your asking. Timing chains dont exactly stay on with a lot off effort.

if you removed the tensioner as you said, you should have enough slack in the chain to move the sprocket. Ive done this many times and with the tensioner off, its pretty easy. The sprocket is never stuck there and the chain is never stuck on the cam sprocket...

I got the timing chain off and now i am trying to remove the head. I have been looking at the FSM and i think i got all the bolts out that need to be out. Is there an special way to take the head off or does it come off easily once the head bolts are out. Thanks
