I need to replace the left side doors on my 94 J-30. I found them at a salvage yard that i have to remove them. ($75) How do I separate electrical easiest/best. Can i access the 'plugs' through the hole in the door jamb once i remove the door? or do i have to disconnect everything inside the door one by one and feed them out of the hole in the door? What I am asking is which wiring harness will I be re-using - the one inside my present door or the one I get from the salvage yard?

How hard is to get all of the harness out of the door jamb? Do I do it from the inside?

i'm not sure if its the same on the J, but almost positive.

the electrical plug can be disconnected i believe inside the door and/or the passenger side kick panel (by the foot area)

After disconnecting that, the hinge is held by a couple bolts and a pin.

there ya go.

Please let us know how you got to the harnesses after the project is completed, wondering this myself!
