remove old fpr for new?

when installing an 8:1 FPR I should remove the factory one correct?

NO! the fmu only affects fuel pressure while boosting, otherwise the stock one still regulates it. You would have one nasty gas leak if you took it off too..:D

it depends, if you are buying a nismo one or another replacement that fits the stock location, you want to take the stock one off, cause you have to in order to install the new one.If you are talking about an FMU like you are (8:1) then you need to leave the stock one on.

haha, ok, thanks.

so am I to understand that the fuel only comes straight from the tank to the rail, and then back to the tank, there is no inline thingy. and I should just add a pipe to the fuel return hose?
