I just had my 09 Versa HB to the body shop to fix some deer damage. While talking about repairs with the shop owner, he mentioned that the bumper on the V needs to be removed to replace one of the light bulbs (not the headlight bulbs, but one of the other bulbs). This is insane. Not looking forward to replacing one of those bulbs. Anyone replace one of these bulbs yet ?

I did not need the light for my repair. I did need a new bumper, anyway, though. Just wondering about the need to remove the bumper just to replace a light. A new low in shade tree mechanic relations, I suppose.

I am pretty sure that there is much easier way to do it. I must be listed in the owners manual: http://nissan-techinfo.com/deptog.aspx?dept_id=201 or the service manual: http://nicoclub.com/FSM.

The turn signal bulb? I thought they are all accessible from the engine bay, some require smaller hands to move around in there.

Yep Agree with NODES. They are all accessible through the engine bay. If your arm is long enough, you can even reach the fog lamp bulb from the engine bay but make sure you try this when the engine is cold before sticking your hands in and ignition is off. Well I've changed all the bulbs in my headlights & Fog lamp this way.
