Anyone Know how to remove the taillights on a 1989 240SX ?

fastback you just gotta pull off that top plastic finisher and pull aside the fuzzy stuff and you'll see little gold-colored nuts that are 10mm I think? I'm guessing it's basically the same thing for a coupe.

open up the trunk and take the plastic off the opposite side of the tail lights. There are only nuts attaching these lights to the car, but some are gold, some are nut+washer combos that have the color of the unibody paint. the size is 8 or 10 mm, and there are quite a few of them. When you remove them, there will be a black tar-like substance that seals the lights to the unibody. You need to replace this seal when you remove them, otherwise you might have water in your trunk in the future. Just ask your local auto parts store for it.
