Removal of moldy plastic roof panels/trim

On the 15 Rogue roof, directly beneath the 2 roof rails are 2 plastic covers that are about 2 inches wide and span the length of the roof. Mine have mold spots that I've tried to remove with careful bleaching, vinegar, and light scraping.

I'm thinking that I could remove them, soak them in something (water and bleach perhaps), and then coat them with some sort of sealer or protectant.

Is removing those easy? Is it in the service manual? I saw that those are no longer hosted here, but I saved a copy.
