Wondering if anyone has any experience with dent removal. I have a slight dent that is just above the drivers rear wheel well. I would typically pop it out again but I noticed that there is a part of the body that comes out from near the bottom of the wheel well towards the body. Almost like a double layer so I can't get up there to pop it out.

Does anyone know of any techniques they could share? I already tried to get into that cavity by removing the rear door latch but there's no hole there just for the two screws.

I thought about the trunk but before I take the time to remove all the lining has anyone done this and see if that part is accessible?

CHEERS!

Might it be worth having a professional fix it? Check out http://www.dentpro.com/ for more info on one resource.

BTW, I am not saying that you could not fix it yourself ... just that the cost may be low enough for a simple dent to have somebody else do the work properly and thoroughly.

I called a few local PDR shops but they are all either too busy or inconvenient. I want someone to come to me to fix it.

Anyway it's right on the wheel well crease so I'm almost 99% certain they'll just look at it and say sorry can't.

I would rather just try myself first then if it doesn't work take it in.

Do we have instructions on removing the trunk liner properly?

You may want to consider the Ding King. It's a do-it-yourself dent kit for under $20. You can pick one up at your local auto parts store. I tried it on the wife's Murano and was able to pull most of her dent out out. It was originally the size of a half dollar, but because it was along the door crease I wasn't able to get it all out (about the size of a nickle now). Check out the reviews on Amazon and you may want to try it out. Good luck!
