Hi there everyone, I've got a '94 Q45. I'm reasonably adept at things automotive and usually do most of my own maintenance and repairs but this problem is testing my ability and my patience. Before I get the BFH I thought I'd see if the collective wisdom of this forum could help me out.
My car has developed leaking valve colver gaskets that I decided to take care of today. My problem is the lower screw on #8 coil pack (rear most cylinder on passenger side of car). The rigid A/C pipe coming out of the firewall and the ABS controller are preventing me from getting a clean shot on that screw. Is there a secret handshake or somehting else I need to know to move this project along??
Thanks in advance for any and all assistance
Whaddya know?? WIth the help of my son, we figured it out. A fresh pair of eyes always helps. The other 3 coil packs were removed while leaving the brackets installed on the head. By removing the bracket holddown, we were able to get the coil pack out still attached to the bracket. I can;t wait to get started on the driver's side of the car
