Will the remotes for the RKE from a 97-2000 Q45 work on my 94 Q45. They are substantially less than the ones for the 94, and i wanted to check to be sure.

Also, i need to make a copy of my key, where can i get this done?

You will have to check the numbers on the back of the remotes. If they match, then theoretically, they should work. However, taking into consideration that they are different prices, then the chances of this happening are slim to none. Sorry.

New Key:I am not positive, but I don't think that a Nissan key blank will work for an Infiniti. However, you can purchase a new key blank from your dealer or possibly one off of Ebay. Then go and get the key made at your nearest locksmith.

About the key, i saw them for $15 on ebay. Does this sound reasonable?

Does it sound too good to be true, is the question. I really don't know how much a new blank would be at the dealer, but you have to consider that this one on Ebay doesn't look like your stock Infiniti large key. I seem to remember that the large-head key is somewhere around $50-60, but don't quote me.It's up to you. Personally, I would check into the dealer's price before bidding on ANYTHING on Ebay.

ThanksJon
