I have a 2007 Nissan Frontier and I am thinking about purchasing a remote starter. I have done some research and the Commando EZ 2500 looks like a good unit and is reasonably priced. Is this a good reliable unit for my truck? Also, they offer an additional relay that will disable the starter if you have remotely started the truck, then forget and try to re-start it when you get in and it is already running. This will apparently prevent you from re-engaging the starter and grinding the flywheel and starter gear. Has anyone installed one of these and do you have any advice?

I was told anything by directed electronics was good (aka viper). That's what I've got and I have had no problems or complaints. I paid 200 installed for mine and it works great.
