remote starter

does a 1993 240sx with a ka24de have a cold start wire? and if it does were is it and what color?

i installed an ultra 3355 remote starter and i doesnt work right.if the engine is warm it will start right away. but if it is cold it will turn over just fine and it will fire but it will not start. it catches on a cylinder every once in awhile but not often enough to start.

this thing is driving me nutz!i did go through tach learn and all that crap.

help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is this on a manual transmission or Auto? When I hooked up my autostart which came with my Viper 791xv alarm, i did not need to hook up the cold start wire. I have a manual transmission by the way.

i have come to the conclusion that the fuel pump relay is not activating, but it will with the key switch, how can i get around this?

by wiring the fuel pump through a relay activated by the remote starter you're using.
