Remote starter on Versa

Hi there,My 2009 Versal SL has a keyless starter. Am I able to have a remote starter on this car? Thanks,Blanqui

I assume you mean you have the iKey that you don't have to use a physical key to unlock the doors and start the car?

Since you have an automatic then you should be able to without a problem. Normally they come with security systems.

You beat me to it lol.

As far as I know, you cannot add a remote start to the factory alarm (if you have one) and usually they are add-ons with after market alarm systems.

You can but a lot of shops will not know how to do it. There is a unit out there that will allow you to bypass the ikey security feature. You will also lose one of your two keys in the process. If the shop you go to does not know if they can or not sure RUN. Make sure you have somebody do it that has done it before because it is a little tricky.
