Remote Starter for A/C

Winter is just around the corner and I was considering getting a remote stater for the coupe. Is there one available with a fob that can be used as a remote starter AND a replacement for the Nissan key fob? Anybody know of a good installer Northwest of Detroit?

there is an option at the dealer to have a remote starter installed on your vehicle, and they will program YOUR key fob to be able to start the vehicle using a combination of buttons..

other than that, you will have to get a remote IN ADDITION to your key fob... with my remote start alarm system.. I didn't have to give up my key fob... but I do still have to have my original key fob in adddition to the aftermarket alram remote

Unfortunitly the dealerships in SW Michigan know nothing about this option. Could be because most of them suck. Could you desribe what you have in more detail? I'd like to discuss this with some people I know at the Tech Center.

hmm.....i wonder how they program it??? Maybe we might be able to do it ourselves. I want that option too, I warm up my car for 15 min. before I use it and damn man, would be so much easier to jus press a button instead of having to walk to the car.

Anyone know someone working for nissan that can get us this info??
