Remote start with turbo timer?

I just got a remote start/ alarm system.

It's a Viper 5900. I Have a Greddy turbo timer in the car now. My question is that it says the alarm has a turbo timer function. Should I stick with the greddy to do the timer? also if I keep it is there any special wiring I will need to do to allow the alarm to function properly?

Just wondering if anyone has done this before. Any suggestions would be nice

it doesn't matter the one in the remote start if hooked up right works the same way. in the remote start it's called idle down mode. if you have the turbo timer and want to hook it up, by all means hook it up. you just need to hit the lock button on the alarm when the car shuts down
