Is it possible on 06 m35 a remote starter that could work with the intelligent key? Where can I find it and buy it?

I know it's possible, but can't recall the exact manufacture names for the remote starter kits. I'm positive that there's a few threads in the past about this same subject so if no else chimes in, the search would be the best starting point. Good luck!

From what I know, the most popular bypass kits are the Xpresskit brand but they require an extra key. I think the Fortin brand works without storing an extra key.

The most difficult part is bypassing the transponder. After that, almost any remote start/security kit should work. I'm a fan of Directed products, but Autopage is a reputable brand as well

The biggest "issue" with using the intel key is you will lose the range you get with using an aftermarket remote...just food for thought..

Are you asking if you can install a remote start on your car or have one that works off the intelligent key?

Regardless, yes it's easily doable. No you don't need to leave a proxi key in the car like stated previously. I've done hundreds if not thousands of proxi key infinitis and nissans since they've come out.

are you saying that you've done thousand of installations without leaving another key inside the by pass kit?

what is your shop rate per hour and how long does it take to install a system? This is assuming the customer is providing a kit of his own.

Yes. The bypasses we use are programmable. Using the 1101T (which you are referring to) is outdated technology. Typical install takes 3 hours. I can't get into $$ specifics since i'm not a board sponsor. Anyone can PM me for details though.

That's DEI's only real competition (besides Autopage, Audiovox, & some other generics), but why exactly would you say they are "better"? Personal preference or better product (if so, then how)

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to disagree. I've been in this business for over 15 years now and have installed/sold Compustar and Viper. There's a reason DEI (Viper) owns over 80% of the market share. Computstar may have "cool" products (that Viper has as well) but their long term reliability is horrible...as is there customer service when it comes time to warranty stuff. You can't just come in and make a claim without having evidence to back it up. Completely understand if it's a personal preference but the facts don't lie.
