At one point, I had purchased a remote start system from ebay for a previous car. I have since sold the remote start, but Im looking for a similar item again for my I35.

What I'm looking for is a remote starter that uses the factory keyfob to start the car. The one I had from ebay started/shut off the car by pressing the lock button on the factory remote 3 times.

Anyone know where I might find a started like this?

Thanks!Zach

Nevermind. Thread can be deleted.

There's several posted on ebay if you do a search for "factory remote start"

Now that I think about it...

Anyone have a good setup for a remote starter? One that works well with the stock security system? I've been finding good deals on starters, but the catch is that they all require a seperate (and usually expensive) module just to bypass the security system.

Your 2 cents matters. Thanks!
