Hi, I've been searching the forum for this topic and can't find the exact answer to my question. I recently purchased my M37X, and it only came with one key fob. I was planning on getting another until I read on my car fax report that a remote start was installed shortly after the first owner purchased the car. My question is how can I tell if the remote start is in fact installed. If it is installed, can my regular key fob remote start the car?

Thanks

Some interfaces would allow the user to hit lock 3x to remote start with the Factory fobs.

It's possible your other FOB (that you would have gotten) is in the car and used as a transmitter (not sure if the Y51's are like that I recall the Y50's being like that). Try doing what SmoovC said.

Thanks for the responses. I tried what you suggested but nothing happened. Im going to have to go to a dealer and get it straightened out.
