If it's installed by a qaulified shop it shouldn't void the warranty. It wouldn't hur to check with your Nissan shop like I did, they recommended only 1 install shop in town that they claimed was certified to do a Nissan warranty-approved install. I'm not really sure how they evaluated if the shop was "certified" or "qualified" while other shops were not, I should have asked for details. Sorry I couldn't be more holp, but I think your Nissan service shop would be the best to consult with prior to moving forward and I'm sure you'll be able to get a remote start installed and still maintain your warranty.
