Remote Start

Over the weekend I had a local company install an AstroStart in my 2007 Altima 2.5SL. Currently I have two issues ... 1) The information display window is locked on the MPG bar chart and 2) After starting the vehicle with the Remote Start fob I cannot get the security feature to disable. After getting in the vehicle, pushing the start button on the vehicle does not disable the security feature that turns off the engine when the brake pedal is depressed. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

yep, sorry to tell you, but the installer messed up during the install. Something is not hooked up properly. You should have asked them if they have done a remote start install on a new 2007 or 2008 Nissan or infinity with push button start. You will need to take it back to them and have them fix the problem!

Thanks for the info. He did state he had done two Altimas with the push button start feature. So, to your knowledge, there is no way to enable the shutdown feature with the remote start feature? The only solution would be to disable the shutdown feature, correct? Also, any ideas as to the lock-down on the info display window on the dash below the speedometer?
