Remote Start

Does the G37 have a remote start ? Living in Phoenix, this feature is great in the summer months.

Unfortunately, it doesn't. What I do in my mom's Lexus is get in, turn it on, and get out. Having remote start would be great but it's mostly reserved for higher end cars I believe.

It's a shame for all the technological advances and toys that you find in the new G Coupe, remote start is something Infiniti regretfully IMO left out. Even Chevrolet is including remote start in many of their vehicles now and Chevy's not exactly "high end" with the exception of the Vette.

The problem with Remote start in any nissan cars is the keyless ignition.

It doesn't quite work out logically. I don't even know if you can add it aftermarket.

I know in my g35. I would have had to sacrifice my spare key, so they could put it somewhere where the ignition would see it as if the key was in the ignition. The problem is then your car is easier to steal. Oh and you only have 1 key or have to pay $$$ for a new one.

What's nice though is that you can open the windows from a distance so at least the hot air can blow out when you open them.

Congrats on your purchase! I havent actually purchased one as of yet. I have a AMG Mercedes CLK55 so the G37 would be a defenite drop in performance, but Im about out of warranty and you cannot own an AMG out of warranty due to extreme costs. I really like the G37.

Did you pay MSRP or did Pinnacle ask for a premium?
