has anyone installed a remote start on the new 07 altima.

I just bought a 07 altima 2.5s... and i was thinking of installing it. Why do you ask?

Yep I do dealer work on ALL 08-09 Nissans. What is your question??

So how would it operae with the push button start? Usually in remote start I am familiar with, if you go into the car you must turn the key to keep it going. If you step on the brake it stops the engine. You need to brake before pressing the start button so how does it work? Will I need an extra transmitter in the dash?Steve08 Altima 3.5 SE

Sorry, registered to ask this before looking around! A quick search I just found the answer to the start button thing. 2 Days with my Precision Grey 3.5 SE so far and its great! Had an 05 Max which was awesome car, but this car is noticeably lighter and a bit quicker. Steering feel was a little better in the Max but maybe that was the 18" 45s. Steve
