So I tackled this thing on Thursday, sorry it took so long but I had to wait for a couple parts I needed. Long story short, the module didn't learn the Can High and Low so I had to use a key in the box. This isn't to say that it won't work soon, but it doesn't work as it comes out of the box. Within the next couple months I should be data logging the system in the car and should be able to get proper software for the bypass module. When that happens I will let everyone know.
On a side note using the key in the box was not as bad as I had originally thought. The biggest problem I had was that I didn't want to lose a key or buy a 3rd to stick in the box. With the way our car works it only needs to see the key's signal during the starting of the car, after that you don't actually need the key in the car and it will stay running. So if you just put the key in the box and keep the metal key out, you can literally remote start the car, then get in it and put the metal key in and turn it to the on position, once you hit the brake and the remote start turns off it will stay running. You would have to remote start it every time in order for this to work, but this would only be a secondary option in case something happened to my other key.
Another note for anyone having this done, our cars have a feature where once the car is running the key fob buttons will not work. If you want your key less entry to work while remote started you will have to have them wire it up with aftermarket key less, and unfortunately you have to go into the drivers door to do so.
All in all it was a pretty easy install, I'll keep everyone posted on getting the module to work so we don't have to use the key in the box.
