Remote Start doesn't work in way cold temperatures?

This morning I tried to remote start my 2018 Rogue (both the App and the Keyfob) and it wouldn't work. It had snowed all night and I removed the majority of the snow from the car. Is it possible a vent was clogged or remote start doesn't work if its a certain temperature?

It was -8F this morning here in Vermont. I used mine this morning and it started right up. I assume you used the correct sequence, lock doors then start right?

Figured out the issue. It seems you can only remote start the car twice before requiring you to "really start the car". I had previously started it the night before when I was doing the initial snow cleanup
