Most false alarm problems arise from the "unlock sensor" inside the driver's door actuator. However, on a gen2 Rogue there are a couple of other things you should check first, before blaming the door lock assembly. The connectors under the kick panel by the driver's left foot frequently get wet and corrode, causing a lot of potential weird behavior. The umbilicals connecting the doors to the car are also vulnerable to fatigue failures, so you should peel back the rubber boots and check for broken wires or cracked insulation. Do that for both front doors, since both have a lock/unlock switch. Lastly, if it has a sunroof, check the carpet for water to make sure it isn't leaking and dumping water on the connectors under the dash.
