I was reading through a webpage about I35 specs and found an option that comes standard on all '02 I35's. Says "Power windows with driver/passenger-side one-touch auto-up/down with safety reverse and lockout feature, remote keyless entry operable." It also says "Key fob operated front window down feature and key cylinder operated windows up/down feature."

Anyone have any idea what that means or how it works? Its not in the manual.

It means that if you continually hold your unlock button on the key fob, the front windows will roll down automatically (they will not go back up if you set the alarm).

And I believe the second part refers to the ability to make the windows go up or down if you continue to hold the key in the door in the lock (windows up), or unlock (windows go down) position.

I figured it out, but it seems like a pointless feature. I caught myself messing with it the other night at the grocery store. The windows went down, but I had to walk back up to the car and get the key out to put them back up. If you could put the windows up with the remote I can see why this could be a useful feature, but without that ability, I dont see why you'd ever need to use it.
