remote oil filter mounting location?

Hey guys, Does it matter where I mount my remote oil filter? I am planning on putting it approximately where the coolant reservoir is or where the battery is, which will make it 1 ft or so higher than stock mounting location. Is that a bad idea?

Where have some of you guys mounted it? pics?

the fuel filter is right there, along with the power steering fluid resoivior.

at least it is for the sohc. make shure the filter is angled down though, like stock...

angled down, that is something to note.

Yea, there's really no space right now for it. I'm relocating my battery to the back soon.

I was also thinking of getting one of the billet coolant reservoirs to replace the stock one so I have even more room there.
