Anyone know if we can install remote ignition to our Altima Coupes? If we didn't have the push to start ignition then I would def say yes, but...

I really want to get one, but I would like to not have an extra key fob. I am sick of getting into my freezing car after work. I think I am going to ask the dealership about it, but I know they will want to charge me 3x the price it really costs.

find a local, high end custom audio/alarm place, they should be able to do it, I am 98% sure it has been done in our cars before, just takes pro's who know what they're doing.

BIG RED FLAG if they ask YOU for an extra key fob . . . walk away from that lol

i drive a manual so i'm running a double wammy for remote starts, i just go for a little jog to my car at 4:45 to get it goin b4 i leave =P Nice thing about our cars is you can keep the keys in your pocket, start it, get out and lock it via the handle lock. So your cars warming up but its still locked and secure

If you are referring to a remote starter, most custom shops do install them, they just charge a bit more for the push button

yes you can do it....I have remote start in my car and i didnt have to give up a key. I used a module that you can program so you can keep the valet key. It ran me about 300 including the module. AND I LOVE IT. A MUST HAVE FOR THE WNTER AND it takes about 3 seconds off the ***** wall

I have one too although I didn't get it from the dealer. I just give my kid my keys and tell him to go outside and start the car If it doesn't respond the first time, a good swift kick to the arse helps things to move along!

so in other words the remote start that you got that kept the key basically just works by you pressing the buttons in a certain combination? Because that is what I want if that is at all possible.
