I have seen the vartex one and I beleive there was another one. anyone have one and or what are your oppinions about them? The reason I was considering one was because of the exhaust tickets are outrageous aost the price of a new exhaust. Any pics or vids? ready.........GO!!!!!

I would rather put that 400 towards an exhaust that doesn't get you pulled over.

It's a cool idea, but I would rather just have a quiet exhaust and maybe an electric cutout before the cat :yesnod

the reason i was saying is because they are giving tickets out here just when they see your exhaust and a ticket that is like$250 sh*t might as well spend it to get one. I thought I saw one on you tube that you can add to your existing exhaust or something..I dont know? I like the idea though. Its so bad I am thinking about painting the exhaust flat black to hide it a little.

If its that bad figure out the size of your exhaust and search ebay for a silencer. Just looked and its around 20 bucks. 20 vs 400? Hard choice. :bigthumb:

im in va and people have been getting tickets for just having the exhaust. not necesarily it being too loud but just for having an other-than-oem exhaust pipe and muffler.
so the way s*** going sound may not even be the thorn anymore.

i was even told in court that dual exhaust pipes on a pickup truck that doesnt come with them stock is illegal...of course ive never gotten a ticket in my truck (dual 3inch straight piped 350) but i usually get at least 2-3 in my little cars ive had using resonator and muffler...wtf.

There is also apexi or other ones that make one operated by cable called a ECV (Exhaust Control Valve) that run about $130-$150
