Anyone have any experience with the “RC-12VR” 12 Volt Wireless Remote with "DPDT Relay" sold at http://www.clickerstar.com ?

At $39.00 (unassembled) it looks ideal for foglight mods and playing DVDs on the Nav screen.
Wireless remote "clicker" sets the mods back to OEM.
Has anyone tried one?

I don't know anything about it, but anytime of a DPDT switch is what you need to complete the DVD on Nav screen mod. Just not sure it is necessary when a $5 switch will basically do the same thing.

Thanks for the reply Timmbo. My thinking is that there would be no switches for anyone to question, and if it would work through the firewall, it would really save some time and effort, and no holes poked through the grommet.

I think I'll order one and play with it.

Love the forum, keep up the good work!

FYI no holes need to poked as it is, this is rather simple, pull out your AV unit and tap into 2 wires!
