I love it when people ask about my 'paint' I vinyl wrapped the entire thing myself last spring

Yeah it looked pretty riced out when I imported it, but all along I had a project in mind, which of course not many believed I could accomplish.

No it is not a daily - I have a modded STi for my daily driver/winter beater, but I do drive it pretty much daily in the summer

It is low as $#@ and I have zipstitched the bumper many a time, but vinyl is awesome and easy to fix... stiff and good suspension is the key, but bottoming out is a reality.

thanks guys

Ahh okay I can see how that's Vinyl and not paint now. Interesting, I hope you do save for paint and body someday.

Nice work to the car but get rid of the vinyl car cover .And get it painted, im not trying to hate on you but how much did you spend on the wrap . Cause lets see you can paint your car for 300 bucks. But the whole era now is clean and sleek vip style . but i love the rims; nice dish , I guess i wasn't here when you first showed it off but it was little to much for most people .And haters is every where you cant stop it just roll it off your shoulder and be witty on the interwebs . Now we have a thread going chicks with our cars , take some piks and get it up .

Well vinyl cost me about 120bucks, so not a huge deal. Problem with the painting (which is another option) is that the vinyls that were on the car were obviously put on before the paint cured fully, and some would not come off completely regardless of what product was used... I felt that painting on top of the leftover crappy vinyl bits would not go well - wrapping seemed like a cool alternative - and from afar it is not obviously vinyl, which is cool, and a throwback to jdm vinyl wrapping... There is a possibility of paint in the future if I can find a decent/cheap way - vinyl will only last so many years outside anyway

I vaguely remember the car. Was it you that had issues with the wheels getting stolen before receiving it? I may have your car crossed with another, but I do remember the engine bay shot. I also don't recall the hating, but I generally stay out of threads posted by chicks. Nothing personal, I just accept the simple fact that guys are usually pretty stupid about 2 things in life: chicks and money.

Car looks good, way too low for my taste, and body kits are horrid looking in general, but that is why your car is yours. Congrats on sticking with it and more so on rolling up the sleeves and getting dirty.

Even a bit of 100-200 grit sand paper and some good ol' fashion elbow grease?

Overall, I like how it turned out and it sounds like you have a couple nice winter and summer toys to play/drive around in. Looks like you got quite a bit of camber on those tires too, but more wheel fitment pics too please!

If it wasn't for the retarded graphics, the wing, and the the neon lights it wouldn't have looked that bad to begin with, but it does look much better now.

all neons were obliterated in the de-rice-ification process

definitely need to clean up the engine bay - I was just pleased to get rid of the red charge pipes and vacuum lines with blue couplers.. blah...

haha not posting pics of myself pm me your facebook info and maybe i'll add you there

Fitment is not bad, not perfect yet in my mind, need some RUCAs pretty bad Still lots of room to improve it.

What was taken out of the car:

Interior before and after: (before the s15 pedals... last bit of rice in those pedals...)

As you can see, a lot of the decals were impossible to remove - didn't try sanding, though, but even elbow grease and every possible solvent you can think off did not work.... I figured if I ever paint it there are 2 other layers of paint under there that would need sanding anyways

Fitment of the wheels that were on before the ABCs:

and some random fitment pics (I <3 dish + tuck)(sorry, crappy BB pics)

Yup, that was me with the stolen wheels... I have still never found those wheels over the years and it still bugs me to this day where they could be no worries, super low and kits aren't for everyone ! appreciate the kind words

*"didn't try sanding, though, but even elbow grease and every possible solvent you can think off did not work"

*"Fitment is not bad, not perfect yet in my mind, need some RUCAs pretty bad "

haha what can I say... I read a lot of magazines and talk to a lot of car guys... I quite enjoy my dumped s13 and am one of the few girls who would just as much love to talk about turbo upgrades as shopping
