Not ridiculous at all. Consider the Star Wars kid's view. Yes, the kid was dumb for leaving a tape like that at school, but he clearly did not give permission to have it published on the world wide web. The kid who published it on the web had no right to publish that video without the Star Wars kid's permission. The fact he became famous because of it reinforces the size of the humiliation to the victim.

Following is hypothetical...I hope. If you had a picture of yourself wearing only a thong, spiked dog collar and cowboy boots that you wanted to keep private, and AZHitman got hold of it and made you Miss March on the GRRRRLZ calendar, I'm sure you'd thank him, right? Hey, you're a "celebrity" and NICO sold every single calendar . What's wrong? Well, Nothing if you want to be famous for being a kinky cowboy, but I'm sure you'd be talking to a lawyer too if you didn't want that picture published

The kid that posted the video was wrong. The question is what is an appropriate punishment for doing a prank like that. I don't know.

That's like saying "girls who shower at school are stupid for being naked when a guy can just open the door!"

Man, the kid got put on national TV on tech tv, among other things, and they even put the lightsaber effects and complimented his crazy style. If i were him, i'd be happy. And try to lose weight.

Unfortunately not everyone has as good a sense of humor as you do.

Repo had DAMN WELL better thank me - That was a lot of work, Photoshopping all that hair off his back.

And it's Miss April, not March.

Thanks for letting the cat out of the bag, Bubba.

I guess people really will sue for anything these days.

The kid should just use him new popularity to get laid, make a few bucks, and be happy about it.

Oh, and im sure it was for a "school project":bsface
